The Shire Map
FindTheCool is the world; the Wardery is merely the game played upon it. Stake a claim at a House you've genuinely visited, and watch your own Shire fill in.
How the Wardery Works
The Wardery turns real visits into a living record. Confirm a House -- that's a Footfall -- then Stake it to make your claim. Renew that Stake over time and you rise through the seven Titles a House can carry.
The Titles
- Discoverer
- The very first person ever to confirm this House. Permanent -- it can never be earned again once claimed.
- Tastemaker
- Whoever, among the first handful to bring real Footfall to a brand-new House, got there earliest. Also permanent.
- Keeper
- Whoever currently holds the most renewals here -- a House's own strongest, live-standing claim.
- Pathfinder
- Whoever has earned the most Crawl-repute here, by charting Crawls that bring real people through this House.
- Chronicler
- Whoever has earned the most Craft-repute here, by filing reports that keep this House's listing accurate.
- Old Guard
- Whoever holds the longest unbroken run of renewals here, without ever once lapsing.
- Warden
- The capstone: whoever holds at least two of the other Titles here at once. Never held in its own right -- only ever the sum of the rest.
Repute
Repute measures what you've done for a House beyond simply standing at it. Crawl-repute goes to a Crawl's own creator when someone else, with real Footfall of their own, completes it through that House. Craft-repute goes to whoever filed a report that got resolved. Discovery-repute is what Tastemaker is built from.
The Rite of Contest
Keeper, Pathfinder, Chronicler, and Old Guard can each be formally challenged. Opening a Rite doesn't flip the Title on the spot -- the incumbent keeps it, displayed, for a genuine 7-day window while both sides can still act. Only if the challenger is still ahead when the Rite closes does the Title actually change hands, and the outcome is recorded permanently in that House's own history. Only one Rite per Title can be open at a House at a time, and the same challenger can't open another at that House within 28 days of their last attempt, win or lose.
The Rules, Plainly
- Claim radius
- You must be within 75m of a House to Stake or renew it.
- Renewal window
- Renewing within 60 seconds of your last renewal doesn't count again -- your claim simply stands. Beyond that, a renewal at a House you already hold only counts once every 20 hours or so.
- Lapse
- A Stake not renewed in 21 days lapses and stops counting toward any Title.
- Pace
- Up to 4 new Houses staked every 10 minutes -- plenty for a real crawl through the Shire, not for a script.
- The Muster
- Resets every quarter. It's a shire-wide banner only -- no claimant's own Realm, Stake, or Titles are ever touched by it.

Your Realm is the extent of what you have genuinely seen. It is not awarded — it is surveyed. Every House you confirm redraws a little more of it.
The Muster
Every Order's combined Stake and Repute this season -- a shire-wide banner. Only this ranking resets each quarter; no claimant's own Realm, Stake, or Titles are ever touched by it.
